Dr. James Rimington has taught music for 38 years at all levels (Elementary, secondary,and college) in schools in Illinois and Georgia. In addition to his position at Midstate, he currently teaches voice, music history, music education methods at Bradley University. He has served as the president of the Music Educators Association and holds membership in Illinois Choral Directors Association. He is a published author in his field. He and his wife Jill, who is a general music instructor in the Pekin Public Schools reside in Pekin, Illinois. Dr. Rimington is also the director of music at Grace Methodist Church in Pekin.
