MBA614: Financial Management - 4 Hours

Prerequisites: ACC480, ECO402

This course applies modern financial theory to corporate finance and investment. An online stock and bond trading simulation provides an in-depth experience for students to valuate, buy, and sell stocks and bonds. Making decisions under uncertainty is a key course element as it relates to decisions made at the higher levels of contemporary, progressive organizations. Topics include analysis of financial statements, time value of money, asset/liability management, corporate capital budgeting and valuation, market efficiency, components of interest rates, and legal and ethical issues in financial management. Course fees may apply.
